Sulaymaniyah - Monday, June 22, 2026 - STEP Iraq visited the University of Human Development and, in the presence of the University of Human Development president, both parties signed a joint memorandum to develop the skills of youth and prepare them for the labor market, which will be implemented in coordination with the Career Development Center.

In a continued effort to strengthen its operational sustainability and expand regional partnerships, STEP Iraq participated in a comprehensive fundraising training and a regional networking event in Erbil, represented by Country Director Rahem Amin and Deputy Country Director Nazim Othman.

STEP Iraq participated in the Delphi Forum, which took place on June 6 and 7, 2026, in the city of Sulaymaniyah. This comes within the framework of the organization's ongoing efforts to empower youth and advance the situation of young people in the Kurdistan Region. During the event, the organization was represented by Mr. Nazem Othman, STEP Iraq's Deputy Country Director, and Mr. Sherwan Ibrahim, Director of the Youth Empowerment Project.
